As your candidate, Kourtney believes...

  • Ward 11 communities are full of amenities and green spaces, some of which are underutilized or needing upgrades. Kourtney's priority is for people to be active in their communities and promote their neighbourhoods as vibrant places to live and play no matter your age, wage, or ability.
  • We live in an age of advancing technology. As Calgary embraces a smart-cities approach we have the ability to make better decisions and create smart solutions driven by innovation. Promoting the innovation economy will continue to keep Calgary on the global radar as a leading city.
  • Councillors need to balance the interests of all who live and work in their ward. Kourtney will promote policies through active listening, intentional dialogue, and thoughtful engagement. This practice welcomes conversations around the diverse needs of all Calgarians with my peers, colleagues, community leaders, and citizens.

Ward 11 in the City of Calgary is one small corner of Treaty 7 land. As immediate neighbours of the Tsuut'ina nation we recognize all of Ward 11 residents live, work, and play on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot confederacy, the Stony Nakoda nation, and Metis Nation Region 3. As neighbours we are stewards to the prosperous and just future for Indigenous Canadians including Urban Indigenous who live across Caglary and live in Treaty 7 territory.
