The Ward 11 office supports residents with concerns and works towards solutions focused actions and outcomes.

311 is a great spot to get answers to many common questions. With options for phone, app, or web-based use, there are many services like snow and ice control, pothole repair, tree trimming, or sidewalk repairs you can request.

A few quick notes on contacting the Ward 11 office:
  • Respectful language is required at all times.
  • The office reads all emails but does not reply to all matters. Due to the high volume of email we prioritize responses.
  • As we receive similar questions/concerns, the personalized response you receive may have the same information we share with others. Consistency is important when relaying information.
  • Comments about your position on various matters are compiled weekly and forwarded to Councillor Penner for review. These are often issues addressed on social media (see below) which you can watch back.
  • The Ward 11 team is well equipped to support your concerns and loops in Councillor Penner as required.

Kourtney does a 15 Minute Friday - a short look at hot topics and thoughts of the week. Times vary based on Kourtney's schedule. These are saved to the respective social media pages and can be viewed back at any time.

Councillor Penner also regularly attends community events so look for her there!

Council & Committee

The schedule of council and committee meetings can be found through the City website. You can also watch meetings live or watch them back. Residents are encouraged to speak to items at committee and public hearing council meetings. Learn more about the process of speaking to council here.

Ward 11 in the City of Calgary is one small corner of Treaty 7 land. As immediate neighbours of the Tsuut'ina nation we recognize all of Ward 11 resides on the traditional territories of the Tsuut'ina, the Blackfoot confederacy, the Ĩyãħé Nakoda nation. As neighbours we are stewards to the prosperous and just future for all Indigenous Canadians including the Metis, Inuit, displaced, and urban Indigenous who live across Calgary and live in Treaty 7 territory.
